A non-textual project I’m currently working on and plan to execute and finish next semester is a contemporary dance with music (see below playlist) that I plan to edit with spoken word poetry and voice-overs. I have two friends who are wonderful dancers that I’m consulting with for choreography because I have never explored the realm of dance before. Falling in line with my theme of personal revolution, something I’ve done a lot of this semester is trying new things that push me out of my comfort zone—this will be one of those things. It will be an ode to my personal revolution thus far, while the process and performance themselves simultaneously contribute to that revolution.
